Animal Reiki 60 Minutes

Service Description

KB is an experienced and compassionate Reiki therapist who will work with you to support your animal's individual needs on their journey towards health, wellness and balance. You will receive a complimentary, 15-minute client intake consultation with KB as part of the initial step in scheduling your animal's Reiki session. During this meeting or text discussion, we will review the animal's needs, your concerns and areas of focus, along with any questions you may have. We will also discuss the history and background your animal companion, what to expect during a treatment session, and agree on treatment logistics (in home, at shelter or sanctuary, or at Red Lotus Yoga). Reiki can provide a deeply relaxing and gentle experience that supports your animal companion's physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. Benefits can include: * Calming nervousness and anxiety * Reducing stress * Relieving pain * Healing emotional trauma * Supporting a healthy immune system * Easing rescue transitions to a new home or family * Recovery support after surgery or during an illness * Reducing stress and pain related to aging and chronic health issues * Emotional, physical and spiritual support during end of life transition * Grief support after the death of a pet Reiki can be performed either hands on or off body with the practitioners hands held just above your pet. In some cases, your pet may initially be nervous or uncertain about the session. This varies by pet, but is normal reaction for many pets depending on temperament and the environment where we hold their Reiki session. In some cases it can take some time for them to relax into the experience. Additionally, they may be distracted by their guardians and may respond more effectively working one to one with KB. If this occurs, she may suggest you step out of the room and will call you back when the session is complete.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance. There is a $25.00 fee for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
