Service Description
Experience the restorative qualities of Reiki from the comfort of your own home. This personalized distance treatment is designed to support deep relaxation, energetic balance, and reconnection, while offering the same compassionate presence and intuitive attention that guide my in-person sessions. Your session includes a 15-minute Zoom intake, 40 minutes of distance Reiki, and a 15-minute closing conversation. We'll begin by discussing how you're feeling, what brings you to Reiki, and anything you would like to receive or release. Together, we'll establish an intention that I will weave throughout your treatment. You'll then settle into a quiet, comfortable space where you can lie down and rest without interruption. I recommend having a pillow and blanket nearby, silencing notifications, and letting others know you'll need uninterrupted time. We'll remain connected on Zoom throughout your session, ideally with your microphone and camera on. This allows me to remain attentive and available should you wish to communicate anything during the treatment. As with in-person Reiki, please let me know if you experience discomfort, strong emotions, or anything you would like support with. While you rest, I use my hands and a pendulum to intuitively assess your biofield and energy centers, or chakras. From there, the Reiki treatment unfolds naturally, guided by your intentions and what I sense within your energy field. Our work may include clearing stagnant or unwanted energy, balancing the chakras and biofield, and creating space for emotions, patterns, or limiting beliefs to soften and release. You may experience warmth, coolness, tingling, waves of energy, emotional release, or simply profound relaxation. You may also feel very little physically. Every Reiki experience is different, and there is no right or wrong way to receive. As the treatment concludes, I'll use the gentle sound and vibration of chimes or bells to support energetic clearing and invite you back into the room. I'll then ground your energy and gently transition into our closing Zoom conversation, where we can share reflections, questions, and observations. Please note: Our closing conversation takes place immediately after Reiki. I'll gently invite you back if you've fallen asleep, but if you're unable to participate, the appointment will conclude as scheduled. Missed closing conversations cannot be rescheduled or replaced with a written report.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a $25 fee. If you do not attend your scheduled appointment or arrive more than 15 minutes late, your session will be considered a no-show and canceled. A $50 no-show fee will apply, and any remaining prepaid balance will be refunded. This policy applies to both in-person and distance Reiki appointments. Distance Reiki Session Policy: Your Distance Reiki appointment includes a 15-minute opening conversation, 40 minutes of Reiki, and a 15-minute closing conversation, all conducted through Zoom. Please prepare a quiet, comfortable space where you can lie down fully clothed and remain undisturbed. We will stay connected on Zoom throughout the appointment, ideally with your camera and microphone enabled so that I can remain attentive and available if you need support. Please join your opening conversation on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled and the no-show policy will apply. Because deep relaxation and sleep are common during Reiki, I will gently invite you back when the treatment concludes. Please plan to be available for both the opening and closing conversations. If you are unable to participate in the closing conversation, your appointment will conclude as scheduled. Missed closing conversations cannot be rescheduled or replaced with a written session report. Professional Conduct & Client Boundaries: The Reiki Sanctuary is a professional wellness practice dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for every client. All Reiki sessions, whether in person or through Zoom, are strictly nonsexual and must be received fully clothed. Nudity, sexual comments, gestures, requests, exposure, or any other sexually suggestive, inappropriate, or harassing behavior are strictly prohibited. For the safety and comfort of everyone involved, sessions may also be ended if a client behaves in a threatening, aggressive, or otherwise unsafe manner. Any violation of these boundaries will result in the immediate termination of the session, without refund. The Reiki Sanctuary reserves the right to decline future appointments when these standards are not respected.
